Admin Asstitant/ Co-ordinator

Iso Triv (Isolation Trivia) is the country’s fastest-growing and most exciting trivia business. We run the best quiz in the biz across Brisbane and Melbourne on top of touring our live panel show ‘Not On Your Rider’ throughout the country. Over the past nine years we have expanded to 19 venues across the country including Range Brewing, The Triffid, Shady Palms & Green Beacon and have run sold-out shows at Splendour in the Grass and the massive Fortitude Music Hall. We are obsessed with trivia and absolutely love what we do.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive business coordinator to join our team, assisting in weekly management alongside helping to grow the brand. We deliver an incredible product that has gained us a cult following across the country and are looking for someone to help us take it to new heights.

 

This role includes the following responsibilities:

 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Responding to enquiries via email and/or phone.

  • Creating processes and proactively looking for ways to expand.

 

EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT

  • Creating materials (e.g., checklists) for hosts and communicating with them.

  • Onboarding new hosts and ensuring they have everything they need to run their trivia night smoothly.

  • Liaising with employees about availability + finding replacements at short notice.

 

ADMIN TASKS

  • Creating and formatting PowerPoints and proofreading them.

  • Updating the website with the trivia schedule for the week.

  • Assistant work.

  • Creating processes and documentation for clients.

 

MARKETING/SOCIALS

  • Posting on social channels.

  • Finding new ways to attract players and press.

  • Occasionally writing press releases.

  • Any video or graphic design skills favoured.

 

CLIENT SUPPORT

  • Communicating with venues and ensuring all listings on the website are up to date. Making sure clients are happy and ongoing quality control.

 

Needs:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Great communicator and multitasker.

  • Confident talking to clients and potential new customers.

  • Highly organised and able to self-manage.

  • Proactive and ambitious.

  • Very basic concept of audio systems/mixers.

  • Fantastic English language and grammar skills.

  • Own computer to work from.

 

Favourable qualities:

  • An interest in hosting trivia nights

  • An interest in the entertainment industry/pop culture

  • Hospitality or business development experience

 

Remuneration: $30/hr

 

Work from home with some in-person meetings weekly or fortnightly in Wilston.

 

15 hours a week – but can be flexible if you need less. There is also scope to increase hours as the business grows or if you want to run a trivia night of your own.

 

Contract work for now, with invoices paid weekly and flexibility to change this working arrangement in the future.
